The most famous of the Bugatti Royales, the very impressive T41 Coupé Napoleon - Ettore Bugatti’s personal car - is entered for this year’s concours d’élégance Saint-Cloud in Paris. That’s great news, but it even becomes better when you know the car will be driven to the event.
The Coupé Napoleon resides in the ‘Cite de l'Automobile’ (better known as the Schlumpf Collection ) but will make it’s way – over 300 miles – being driven over ordinary roads to the west side of Paris. The majestic car is due to arrive the day before the concours opens and will certainly be the crowning glory of the event. Admiring it is a pleasure; seeing it in motion is a privilege.

Apart from the big Bugatti, the French auctioneers of Artcurial have registered some interesting cars for sale too at the event. There is a 1958 Pegaso Z102 Touring, a Bugatti Type 40 roadster with compressor, a 1934 two-seater Alfa Romeo A6C 2300 Spider and a first-hand Delage DM with bodywork by Autobineau among them.
