Between 1936 and 1941 Sodomka received 116 Aero 50 rolling chassis to be fitted with various Convertible, Roadster and four door bodies. Besides these rolling chassis they also received a number of standard Aero Type 50 cars to be converted.

Sodomka created the coachworks to their own design or according to private client's wishes. Several different front ends were used of which some were standard Aero, some designed by Sodomka and some especially designed for discriminating clients.

Various configurations were offered: Two seat Convertible, Roadster, Special Roadster, 2+1 Convertible and 2+2. Spot all the differences in the pictures below.

I am not a natural flatterer, I like to think that I "tell it like it is", politely I hope. So when I tell you that I am very impressed by the contents of your website, it is just not English politeness. I of course love the subject matter but you deal with it in an energetic and respectful manner. I am overwhelmed by the research that has gone into compiling the list of coachbuilders/bodybuilders for Europe and North America. I have never heard of the vast majority of them. Congratulations on an excellent website.
