1931 Willys Model 97 2 Door Cabriolet with a Danish body. Although it is referred to as a body by Hoyer, I believe this actually means a body built at Høyer, which is where the J.H. Jensen karosserifabrikk was located. They were often referred to as "Høyer" instead of their company name.

I have posted a RR Silver Ghost here in the Non Specific section, which was bodied according to John Fasal's Silver Ghost book by "Hojer", Southern Jutland, Denmark.
So do you mean, the coachbuilder was Jensen from Hoyer ?

I'm not 100% certain, but I have no find any concrete evidence of a coachbuilder with the name Hoyer in Danish sources. The only Hoyer coachbuilder I've found come from Conventry.

Jensen & Son is said to have been a major coachbuilder who even built cars for Danish royal house. Danish texts efers to the coachbulder as "Høyer" multiply times. English speakers would often write Høyer as Hoyer and I therefore think they have gotten confused by text like this. One Danish text actually mention " J.H. Jensens Fabrik i Hoyer", so it could perhaps be a old name of the place?

I have found the same picture in an old article covering Jensen & Søn and can now confirm that this Willys was bodied by Jensen.
