Translation of Rob's text:
"Does anybody know more about Graddon & Lawson, London?
My Berliet from 1913, at the time exported from Australia, has an aluminium body by this British coachbuilder. I've been trying to find some more information for some time now, but with no success. Maybe through this forum?"

I think they are important enough for a place in this forum and eventually on the main website! :)
I love the small and obscure underdogs. ;)

there was a whole bunch of workshops and repairshops that only did one single body job too, many such are gone totally wwithout trace. If we dig up some obscurities here, just imagimne what has gone missing...

Max Graddon & Lawson, London, c.1910 -14

They made mainly open torpedo-bodies on Berliet and Charron chassis, although they built a Landaulet on a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost in 1911. In 1913 they showed a sporting 4-seater torpedo on the Berliet stand at the 1913 Olympia Show.
