I've posted a picture before on the Walker forum, but i believe it to be Walker-La Grande.
Designed to replace the older Murphy and Rollston convertibles, but it never really was a breakthrough.

Correct name: LaGrande. Not LaGrand, LeGrand etc... Let's post them all.
This are the Torpedo Phaetons. Similars to Weymann-LaGrande (see topic)

J 255-2276 1932 Recently auctioned at RM's . It's a replica body on the same style of Buehrig's phaetons Originally a Limousine by Judkins. Sold to Dave and Fred Webber of St. Louis, who commissioned Fran Roxas to build black/red interior Torpedo Phaeton body to LaGrande specs. Finished in 1990.

The second:
J 534-2560. Today is the blue one on Anton's post. It would be nice to merge it here to gather them all together

This is J 415-2432. Originally a La Grande Coupé. Indianapolis sportsman Jim Roberts rebuilt it via Unioncity. LaGrande and Unioncity worked together on several Duesenbergs, so maybe this would be the place to post this strange car. Here you can find a little more info, http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/tag/ ... g-model-j/
but the picture has been retouched by me, which I think you'll apreciate. (Only for coachbuild.com he he..) ;)
