The black torpedo posted before is the n°00275 assigned to the Prince Umberto II, son of the King Vittorio Emanuele III. This wasn't his personal car, he drove a special Fiat 6C 1500 berlinetta, it'a representative car only. However the car is cloaked in legend: some says it was used by the Prince to escape from Rome to Pescara on September 8th 1943. And then was resized by the U.S. 5th Army and assigned to a General and that the General gave it to the Duchess of Pistoia, his mistress, and then bla bla bla....
The only certain fact is that this car was in the garage of palazzo del Quirinale in Rome from 1939 to 1943.
The car was unsold at Coy's auction in 2009. (120.000€)

This extra lusso 1100C cabriolet won the first prize in its class at Villa d'Este concours of elegance in 1947.

The pale blue 1100E cabriolet (#329030) was auctioned in Padoa by Coys for 70200€ in 2005.

This Fiat 508 was ordered by an successful textile industrialist from Biella. He wanted a little, but classy, cabriolet to go to his factory every day. So this is the sole model of 508 by St.Farina and the plate is still the original.
